Hi Everyone!

It feels so strange writing a blog post since I haven't done one in over six months but I finally got the time and motivation to do this one. With all the travelling and moving to a new city to start grad school, I just couldn't find spare time to work on the blog. Actually that's a lie, I didn't make time to work on it. If anything, I've actually been more demotivated to do it for a number of reasons. Sometimes seeing other influencer's following increasing drastically (mostly cause they buy fake followers) when yours isn't can make you wonder if anyone actually cares about your blog or not. It's been annoying when certain brands tend to only look at the number rather than the actual content the person is putting out and I felt like it just wasn't worth it for a while. It was also the fact that I watched a video by Chloe Morello (click here to watch) calling out all the influencers that don't have a genuine following and it got me thinking about whether I even enjoy doing this anymore.

It was until recently, when I was talking to my family and a few other friends/people and they asked me, "Why haven't you put up a blog post in a while?" Only to get me thinking that I honestly shouldn't care about the brands that don't want to work with me for me and only care about a number or about what other people are doing with their blogs. My blog is my creative outlet for me and only me and I should do keep doing it for the very reason I started it which is that I love sharing my experiences about fashion, beauty and travel for whoever and how many ever people decide to read it.

On to a happier note, I am now living in New York City and loving life here. It's definitely no London but it's still amazing and I'm really starting to feel like I could just keep on living here. That's if I get a job. I love the fall vibes you get from my first post here. I tried to keep it as me as possible which obviously had to be an all black outfit. Cropped hoodies and jeans have pretty much been my go-to outfits everyday and cause it was on the warmer side earlier today, I decided to pair it with my grey mules. I would otherwise wear this outfit with sneakers or some boots when it's a bit colder. As for the shades, I've kinda been obsessed with them ever since I got them. Slightly a waste now since there's only like two hours of sun every day but you can expect to see me wearing them more often when Spring comes around. Since I'm finally getting back in the groove of things, I'm hoping that I can work on a few of my travel posts and get them up soon. x

Hi Everyone!
Summertime calls for off-shoulder, ill-fitted dresses. With the temperature in Bangalore being so high, I've pretty much been sticking to dresses like these as much as possible. I've always been a fan of the off-shoulder trend and I'm quite certain that I'm not going to stop wearing them any time soon. Just like off-shoulder dresses, I've been loving mules as well. I try to stay away from heels as much as possible but these are just so comfortable! I'm always pleasantly surprised when I find heels from high street brands that I can wear for longer than my more expensive ones. I love the bohemian vibe you get from this outfit and I can't wait to wear more looks like this during the rest of the summer. x

Seasonless

Hi Everyone!
The weather in Bangalore is clearly changing and it's constantly getting hotter and hotter. While monochromatic looks are normally associated with Autumn and Winter and the bright colours in everyone's wardrobe starts to come out in the Spring and Summer, I still tend to wear a tonne of greyscale outfits in the hotter seasons. Especially in a city like Bangalore where the seasons aren't as clearly defined as in other places. Everything worn in this post is almost seasonless and can be adapted to be worn at any time of the year.

I've recently noticed that a lot of the products sold on Myntra are not seasonal and can be worn throughout the year. I've also really been enjoying scrolling through their app and finding outfit shots posted by other people. What's great about it is that you can directly buy the same items or similar ones from the look shown if you really like something. I definitely think it's worth checking out as it's super easy to use as well. x

One for All

Hi Everyone!
I've been so eager to share this post with you so that I could talk about the brand Plantation House. It's such a unique brand that either has no sizes or very few for all their pieces. Their clothes are designed and cut in a specific way that in most the styles, one size can fit almost every body type. Being someone that likes to always dress specifically to what suits my body the best, I love brands like this these that make clothes that flatter everyone. I'm kinda obsessed with this maxi since and I especially love the cowl bottom it has. Based on the way that it's styled, I like that this can be worn in a casual manner or even be dressed up with some heels. Sticking to the sort of look I usually go for, I decided to only pair the dress with these slides from VAPH which are super comfortable. No surprise there since all their shoes are and decided not wear any accessories apart from my rings since I really enjoy the simplicity of the dress and didn't want anything to overpower it.x

Sporty Spice

Dress- Adidas Originals// Shoes- Jimmy Choo// Shades- Ray-Ban

Hi Everyone!
Athleisure is probably one of my favourite trends yet. It's casual and comfortable and I haven't found another trend that I love as much or is more me. I've always tended to lean towards a more sporty side when dressing and this look is definitely one of my favourites. I got this T-shirt dress a while back and I've been so into it since then. I would even wear it everyday if I could. It's honestly the easiest thing to just throw on and run out the door when you're in a rush. I've also become such a sneaker head that I knew I didn't want to pair this dress up with anything else. I didn't think any other style of shoes would suit the dress as much. I love how this entire look came together and it's probably the sort of thing you'll be seeing more from me as this year goes on. x
