Hi Everyone!
I'm going through a phase where I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with with different brands and styles that I wouldn't have typically worn in the past. Still trying to stay as true to myself as possible of course, I've started to enjoy and appreciate a larger variety of clothing options. I'm really hoping everyone is adoring this Mogra dress as much as I am. I mean, how gorgeous is it? I have to say though, I did steal this dress from my sister. I find it great how I've learnt about a few new brands through her. When I saw that she bought this, I knew I had to wear it immediately.

Skater dresses are definitely a style I have worn a lot of. I think it's super flattering for my body type and I've always loved the way I feel in them. The reason I would say this is something I wouldn't have typically worn in the past is because of the print. I've recently become a bigger fan of Indo-western clothes and I'm definitely taking joy in styling them in different ways. I mostly try to pair my skater dresses with heels since it generally makes my legs look longer. To complete the outfit, I added a simple black crossbody to ensure that the focus stayed on the dress. x

Hi Everyone!
I'm glad that I finally have the chance to post this collaboration I did with Roshini and Tanmayi of RAW diaries a while ago. I've been a big fan of their blog since they started it and had so much fun working with them on the post. The three of us have showcased our own versions of looks we would wear during the monsoon season. All three of them however, are layered which make it easier to adapt to the unpredictability of the weather in Bangalore.

Me- With the weather in Bangalore getting much cooler, I love that I’m able to pull out my jackets and layer my clothes. Keeping in line with the inspiration for my blog, this outfit was inspired by one I would wear in London. The dress from Forever 21 is so versatile and comfortable and can be worn for a number of occasions based on the way it’s styled. I decided to pair that with my Steve Madden boots and Zara denim jacket to keep the look more casual. Since I’m going through a grunge phase at the moment, I thought a choker and this dark brown shade from Kylie Cosmetics on the lips would go perfectly with the entire look.
Roshini- The only plus side to monsoons for me is that like Tanvi, I can start wearing most of my jackets and boots. I have paired a Forever 21 denim jacket with a peach midi dress so that my outfit is neither too dark nor too bright. I've chosen waterproof boots for my feet that completes my look and keeps it simple and comfortable. I am wearing a dark Chanel lipstick with tinted gloss for a change instead of my usual matter colours.

Tanmayi- Anybody who knows me, knows that i wear by maxi dress at all times! The monsoons with its wet, slushy weather isn't exactly suitable for full length dresses but I have tied up my dress from Dorothy Perkins at the side slit so I can still wear it without worrying about it sweeping the ground. To me, gloomy weather is all the more reason to lighten up my mood by wearing brighter outfits. I have opted for a floral maxi dress with chunky earrings and a bright lip colour. My boots from H&M keep my feet warm and safe from the water. Minimal make-up and fuss free hair is perfect for the monsoons.

Make sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram pages as well. x

Hi Everyone!
I attended the first day of Bangalore Fashion Week and this was the outfit that I decided to wear. I'm someone that doesn't wear a lot colour and usually ends up in all black outfits. However, I do sometimes like adding a twist to make it a bit more interesting. My favourite part of this look without a doubt is this gorgeous Moon bag. To make my outfit less monotonous, I occasionally add pops of colour through the accessories I wear with it. The second I saw this bag, I couldn't take my eyes of it. I think it has to be one of my favourite designs of a bag. It's just so unique and I haven't seen anything else like it.

I tried to keep the entire outfit quite simple but equally chic. No surprise that I'm big into the off shoulder trend. I think it's super flattering and an extremely versatile style that can be dressed up and dressed down based on what it's worn with. These culottes have been a staple in my closet since I bought them. I love experimenting with them and thought it looked great with the top. I finally topped it off with a pair of the comfortable heels I own (that are my favourite as well) and a velvet choker on my neck. x
