Overall Inspiration

Overalls- StalkBuyLove// Top- Zara// Shoes- Steve Madden// Bag- Mansur Gavriel

Hi Everyone!
I always take my style inspiration from other bloggers. One of my favourites has always been Danielle Bernstein from WeWoreWhat. She focuses more on street fashion and everyday looks which describes my style perfectly. WeWoreWhat's iconic look has always been in overalls and seeing how good she looks in them made me want to try them out as well. I've been looking everywhere for the perfect pair of overalls and in an ideal situation, I would've been able to find ones that that fit the same way as above but in denim. After months of searching, I decided to forget about the denim and to get these black overalls that were so easy to wear. They're convenient for when you're in a rush and want to throw something on real quick to run errands during the day.

To complete the look, I wore my quilted loafers from Steve Madden that I have recently been wearing quite a lot. They're so comfortable and perfect for when you're running around. I also added this new and extremely gorgeous Mansur Gavriel bucket bag to my look. I've wanted one of these bags for so long and whenever I searched for them, they were always out of stock. So when one finally became available (regardless of the colour and size), I just knew that I had to have it. The leather is so stiff which I think is great because it actually holds the shape of the bucket bag. All in all, there's nothing I dislike about this bag. I have always had an obsession with bucket bags and this definitely has been on the top of my list for as long as I can remember. I'm so glad I finally got my hands on one after ages. x

Hi Everyone!
I never really understand why Milan Fashion Week is always more hyped up than London. Maybe it's me just being biased but I always enjoy watching the runway shows in LFW than MFW. To be honest, my least favourite fashion week this season was Milan. While I found a couple of looks that I wanted to get my hands on, I found it the easiest to condense. My favourite collection was no doubt, Fendi. It was so edgy and different from all the other shows I watched. I particularly loved the jumpsuit that I've shown on top. It was one of my favourite pieces this season.  x

Fervour Blogger Meet

Hi Everyone!
Last weekend, a few other bloggers and I were invited to visit the Fervour store in  Bangalore. We were lucky enough to get a preview of their Autumn Winter '15 collection. Fervour is a luxury retail concept that seeks to fill a gap within the Indian Market. They house a number of iconic brands such as Marc Jacobs, Dsquared2, Iceberg, Jil Sander, Nina Ricci and others. Fervour aims at allowing their customers to create a complete look from number of brands that compliment each other.

This was the first time that I had been into the store and I felt like it truly represented the concept behind it. The store layout felt modern and contemporary. While I was there, I got to try on and style a few of the pieces that I admired. Walking around the store, I immediately fell in love with this circle skirt from Iceberg. I thought it was flattering and I really liked the print on the skirt. I decided to pair the skirt with this blue bucket bag from Dsquared2. I thought the blue added a pop of colour to make the outfit a bit more exciting. Also, I have an obsession with bucket bags and my eyes were drawn to this one as soon as I saw it.

All Bangaloreans, make sure you check out the store. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did. To everyone else, do check out their Facebook and Instagram pages and try and drop by the store if you ever are in Bangalore. x

Hi Everyone!
I was feeling extremely nostalgic while writing this post. Watching all the shows from LFW made me miss living in London so much and reminded me of how much fun I had during the fashion week in February. While most of the looks I chose for this post had colour in it, a lot of the collections I saw at LFW were so monochromatic. Lots of black and white only which definitely got me really excited. My favourite collection was definitely Issa. There wasn't a piece on that runway that I didn't want. Although, my favourite show was once again Burberry. Christopher Bailey has just done such an amazing job with the brand and the fashion week shows just keep getting better and better. x

Hi Everyone!

It's no secret that I'm always excited when September finally arrives. New collections being shown, bloggers wearing their best outfits and my Instagram and Snapchat feeds being filled with what everyone's doing in New York, London, Milan and Paris. Now that the month is over, I can finally do posts on my favourite looks from all the fashion weeks. I have to say that I had huge difficulty this time trying to condense my top choices from all the shows at NYFW.

Looking at the show as a whole, Tommy Hilfiger did an amazing job once again. I honestly thought he wouldn't be able to beat the football field set up he did last season but the stranded island that he created this time completely blew me away. The dresses and skirts that were shown for SS16 in my opinion outdid all the jumpsuits and pants that I saw. My ultimate favourite show had to be Altuzarra this time. I think they just did an incredible job and every piece they showed, I wanted so badly! x
