Disclosure closing day two of Wildlife

Hi Everyone!
First off, I just want to say that I'm sorry about the quality of the pictures but all of these were shot with my iPhone and most of them with little or no light. Anyways, as you've probably seen on my Instagram, I went down to Brighton in the beginning of June and my friends and I all went for the first ever Wildlife Festival. Disclosure and Rudimental started it this year and since I love them both, I was so excited to be there for the entire weekend. The set up of the festival was done so well, kinda looked like a mini Coachella. Also, I did get to tick off a lot of artists that I was dying to see of my list like Rudimental, Disclosure, Nicolas Jaar, George Ezra and more! I honestly think they did an incredible job with Wildlife and I'm sure it's just going to keep getting bigger and better every year.

Since this was the first proper festival I had been to in the UK, I decided that I just had to wear dungarees for the first day and got these amazing distressed ones from Pull & Bear. I paired it with a high neck cropped top and fell instantly in love with the outfit when I put it on. Little did I know that it would be ridiculously windy and cold at the festival. I mean, it is June! I was expecting some summer heat! I was pretty much freezing throughout the day and even more in the night. Sadly because of this, I couldn't wear the second outfit that I had originally planned on wearing for the second day of the festival. I decided that staying warm and being able to feel my legs by the end of the night was more important and wore a much less exciting all black outfit with a denim jacket. Annoyingly, it wasn't as cold on the second day but I just didn't want to take a chance.

All in all, I have to say that I loved my time at Wildlife 2015. It's so convenient for Londoners as well since it's just an hour away in Brighton and they don't have to trek all the way up to Manchester for Parklife. I hate that my time in the UK is ending so soon. I would do anything to be able to spend another year in this city and maybe go Wildlife again next year. x

Fuchsia Vibes x Alexander McQueen Exhibition

Jacket- Zara// Dress- GUESS// Shoes- New Look

Hi Everyone!
Isn't everyone so happy that it's summer time? I love when the sun only sets after 8PM and it's warm enough to walk around London without a jacket on. I shot this post a while ago and to be honest, I wasn't sure if I was going to put it up cause I originally didn't like the pictures and thought they didn't come out too well. After taking another look at them recently, I decided that with a bit of editing, I would feel okay with posting them.

I wore this outfit when I went to the V&A to see the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Exhibition. He is my favourite designer and I will always be biased towards him, regardless, this was the most amazing exhibition I ever been to. All of the clothes and all of the other pieces were preserved so well and the complete layout of it was just incredible. The music in every section and every quote on the walls, really made you understand the concept behind each collection and I was more and more amazed by what I kept seeing. They even showed the Kate Moss Hologram that was shown in his AW06 show during her cocaine scandal. There was sadly no photography allowed inside and while I tried to take some pictures quite sneakily they didn't come out very well. So I recommend going to see it if you can still get your hands on some tickets. Trust me, you won't regret it.

When it comes to my dresses and playsuits, I always love wearing bright colours and lots prints especially during the summer. I love anything GUESS and this fuchsia dress is no exception. It's comfortable and flattering and in my opinion suits my body type really well. Since I was walking around a lot, I tried to keep the look quite casual by wearing it with a pair of sneakers. I've really grown on the idea of wearing sneakers with my dresses and I love it. I think it keeps the look quite fun and gives it a bit of an edge. Another month left in this beautiful city before I go home for good. I think I'm going to miss it way too much. x

Midi Obsession

Jacket- Zara// Top- Vero Moda// Skirt- ASOS// Shoes- Aldo// Bag- GUESS

Hi Everyone!
So this has to one of my favourite outfit posts that I've done till now. I've always been obsessed with midi skirts but never had the guts to wear one cause I thought it would be an unflattering cut for my figure. I still don't think a fitted midi would look too good on me. I'm not exactly the tallest person and I don't have the longest legs, so I was surprised by how much I actually liked the way this skirt looked when I tried it on. Since it's almost summer time and the sun's actually out in London, I decided to go against my initial instinct of buying a neutral colour like black and bought it in a mint green.

I've always been the type of person that likes to keep the styling to a minimum and in this case, there was no difference. To make sure all the attention stayed on the skirt, I paired it with a plain black tank, black leather jacket and black flats. I've never been a big fan of accessories. The only accessory I love wearing are scarves and that's cause they always make my outfit a bit more exciting. Here, however, I decided to ditch the scarf and wear a gold choker. I did this as I thought a scarf would make the entire ensemble look to messy and make it seem like there was too much going on. x
