Hi Everyone!
Going to Delhi and Agra was such a last minute decision for me. I realised that I had to go since I had never seen the Taj Mahal before this and I was feeling pretty ashamed with myself for that. It wasn't even a long trip, I was in Delhi for two days and spent the third driving to Agra and back to see the Taj Mahal. I went there towards the end of February and the weather was just amazing. I've always loved visiting delhi and the only problem I had with it the previous times was the heat as I would somehow end up going during the summer. I honestly feel like the entire time I was in Delhi, all I did was eat. Some of the restaurants I went to were:
Elma's Bakery- Hauz Khas Village
Perch- Khan Market
Farzi Cafe- Connaught Place (This was my favourite!)
Apart from all the food which pretty much took me all around Delhi anyways, I spent the rest of my time shopping in some of the malls or at Dilli Haat where I was completely fascinated by all the arts and crafts I saw.

Visiting the Taj Mahal ended up taking the entire day. The drive there and back took around three to four hours each. I spent a little over an hour walking in and around the monument and had lunch in Agra before the drive back. Entering the Taj Mahal was honestly quite annoying. The lines were so unorganised and there were loads of people coming up trying to rip us off by offering to be our guide. The minute I saw the Taj Mahal though, I was completely mid-blown by how gorgeous it really is. Seeing it in pictures doesn't do it any justice. I honestly thought it would be quite overrated but it's definitely one of the most magnificent pieces of architecture I've seen till date. I highly recommend seeing it at least once, I was so impressed by beauty of it. x
